About Our Offerings

Plan in Place
For $800 to $1200, clients can complete an estate planning questionnaire, chat with an attorney in our firm, and receive a complete, attorney-prepared plan in a matter of days. Clients sign on their own, but receive instructions on how to sign the documents and what to do next.

Traditional Engagement
For a flat fee of $1200 to $2200 (depending on the complexity and attorney assigned to matter), clients receive an initial consultation and meet with us at the end of the engagement to sign documents and receive follow-up instructions. The majority of our traditional engagements are done at a flat fee of either $1200 or $1600, but even at the $2200 price point, we can cover multi-generational planning, special needs planning, blended family scenarios—you name it.

Special Projects
We assist clients with SLATs, GRATs, installment sales, DAPTs, charitable trusts, private foundations, and a host of complex tax and planning matters. We can also assist with the gift, estate, and income tax reporting needs. These matters are typically handled on an hourly rate basis, but we can provide a quote or range before we dive into the work.

Prices are flat fees and known upfront. Clients HATE hourly fees no matter how much money they have. I came from a financial planning firm that worked with a lot of “downtown” firms where the attorneys were knowledgeable, but where you had no idea how much it was going to cost. Plus, clients were nickel and dimed for every phone call and email, even when the client wasn’t on the call or email! I think presenting the fee upfront avoids a lot of confusion and frustration for everyone—the client, the attorney, and the advisor who can sometimes feel like he or she is stuck in the middle.
